VirtualBox image

You can download a VirtualBox image of Ubuntu (Karmic) with Notre-DAM already installed on it. The VBOX image has been tested on Virtual Box 3.2.8.

You need to install VirtualBox on your computer to use the image, so refer to the VirtualBox website to get the installer.

After VirtualBox installation, you need to follow these steps:

1. 1.Download Notre-DAM VirtualBox image (NotreDam1.03VM.zip);
   

2. 2.Unzip the image;
   

3. 3.Start VirtualBox;
   

4. 4.Go to File > Import virtual application, add the ovf file and go on with the wizard;
   

5. 5.After the import (it can take a few minutes) you will find a new Virtual Machine (named NotreDam1.03): start it;
   

6. 6.Ubuntu will start on a new window.
   

7. 7.After the boot of the VM, login with username “Dam” and password “notredam”;
   

8. 8.In order to start Notre-DAM, proceed according to steps 2, 3 and 4 of the Single-machine installation procedure;
